Are you under 25, looking for employment and hoping to work with young children? This 15-week program is for you! Whether you have a high school diploma or equivalency or are currently a college senior, learn more about joining a special cohort, at no cost, and getting certified to be an Assistant Teacher or Lead Teacher in a child care center.

Brooklyn Kindergarten is thrilled to be a partner in this innovative program led by CUNY’s New York Early Childhood Professional Development Institute and their Early Childhood Career Development Center. The Early Childhood Work Readiness Program charts a much-needed alternative path to meaningful, full-time employment. Sponsored in part by a grant from the Heckscher Foundation for Children.
